We have extensive experience of providing a total project management service for construction, industrial, education, healthcare, transportation, power, defense, nuclear,  and oil and gas projects. We pride ourselves on providing a tailored service that assists our clients in establishing their options, defining their project needs and managing project delivery.

Our Approach to Project Management

Strategy and Initiation

During the strategy and initiation phase we believe ensuring that the project aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives is crucial to its success.

  1. Build a business case. This involves defining the project's goals and objectives and identifying how they will benefit the organization. We build a business case to justify the need for the project, project objectives and return on investment.
  2. Feasibility study. In our feasibility study we will prove that the project can be executed within a reasonable time and at a reasonable cost.
  3. Establish the project charter. The project charter will help establish the project's objectives and scope and convey what the project is going to deliver. 
  4. Determine stakeholders. Identify all stakeholders, including internal team members, external vendors, clients, or customers, and determine their roles and responsibilities.
  5. Estimate timeline. Determine when the project will start and finish, as well as the milestones and significant deadlines along the way.

Design and Planning

In the planning and organizing phase, we will  develop a well-thought-out plan for resources, budget, and activities to achieve a high-quality  of success for your business In this phase we will perform the following steps;

  1. Review project objectives and scope with your team. We will ensure clarity and develop a project plan. This plan identifies the tasks and activities needed to complete the project and the resources and budget required.
  2. Identify potential risks and construct a communications plan. We define who, where, and how often stakeholders will receive project updates, as well as how the team will communicate with you.
  3. Create a work breakdown structure (WBS).  To organize and define the work required to achieve each deliverable. 
  4. Produce a resource management plan. We  find the best talent for each role and the client's needs and personality we employ resource planning tools  to identify who is best for each task.
  5. Walk through the scope as a team. We identify each deliverable's dependencies, risks, and complexity to create a detailed project plan. Ensure that all team members know what is in and out of scope.

Execution and Testing

In this phase we  execute the plan and ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. In our approach we perform the following steps to ensure a seamless execution;

  1. Manage resources. project managers need to oversee the project management knowledge areas as the project progresses toward the monitoring and control phase. Along the way, the project manager will reallocate resources or adjust time and scope as needed to keep the team working
  2. Track status & reports.  We manage tasks through various tools and send regular status reports to clients to keep them informed.
  3. Meet objectives. We continuously check in on the deliverables being worked on to ensure they are in scope and aligning with the project's objectives.

Monitoring and Controlling

The project monitoring and control phase will take place concurrently with the execution phase of the project. In this phase we will be monitoring the progress of the project execution activities to ensure the project team stays on schedule and within budget. Our quality control procedures will be applied to guarantee quality assurance. Lastly, we will create reports and presentations such as project status, timesheets, workload, allocation and expense reports for project managers and stakeholders to track progress. 

Closing

In the project closure phase our team will wrap up the project and evaluate its overall performance through the following steps;

  1. Conduct retrospectives to gather feedback from stakeholders and team members to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the project. 
  2. Approve, sign off, and hand off.  In this step we will be confirming that all deliverables meet the expected objectives and our clients have everything they need for their closure process. Once approved, resources are released, documentation is completed and everything is signed off on
  3. Create a project closure report.  This report will help document the project's success and ensure that all parties involved are satisfied.
